Three Plymouth Valleys

The city council's Stepping Stones to Nature initiative asked us to help encourage play and enjoyment of the 3 wooded valleys - Forder Valley, Woodland Wood and Efford Valley.

Working with local people we proposed playable picnic areas, structures for climbing in among the trees, for building dens around, stream bridges, and of course stepping stones to get kids down and into the water. The aim was to break down barriers to the natural world, to draw people into the valleys and encourage them to have fun when they get there.
