CABE warns Bland playgrounds are restricting children’s creativity

Designing and planning for play has been published to encourage local authorities to seize this opportunity to create spaces that allow children to use their imagination, with natural play design. Experts accuse play manufacturers’ body of issuing misleading statements
On 1 May the Association of Play Industries (API), a trade body that represents the interests of the equipment and surfacing industry, issued a statement on the inspection and maintenance of natural play areas.
